In September 2016, Jayce Baron was invited by Assemblyman Mike Gipson to speak at the State Capital alongside Gloria Allred to revoke the Statute of Limitation on rape charged in California. On September 28, 2016, Governor Jerry Brown signed SB813.
Later, Together For Girls recognized Jayce Baron for his efforts in his work with sexual assault awareness. Also recognized was Vice President Joe Bidon, Ashley Judd, and Chessy Prout.
Jayce Baron continues to be a voice for a community that rarely has the luxury to tell their stories.
